Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx).
  • Manuscript should contain at least 20.000 words and should not exceed 20 pages including embedded figures and tables, without any appendix, and the file should be in Microsoft Office (.doc/.docx) or Open Office (.odt) format. It should be prepared in A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm) using 4 cm for inside margin and 3 cm for top, bottom, and outside margins.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 10-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Author may submit the article to Jurnal Litbang Polri, have to send original soft file manuscript (doc, docx). The checklist have to be checked.  
  2. Named should be state without academic degree, affiliation address and position should be state clearely after Title Times New Roman (TNR) 1 space, sizes 10 font. 
  3. Manuscript should contain at least 20.000 words and should not exceed 20 pages including embedded figures and tables, without any appendix, and the file should be in Microsoft Office (.doc/.docx) format. It should be prepared  in A4 paper (21cm x 29.7cm) using 4 cm for inside margin and 3 cm for top, bottom, and outside margins.
  4. Header and footer including page number must not be used. All hypertext links and section bookmarks will be removed from papers. If you need to refer to an Internet email address or URL in your paper, you must type out the address or URL fully in Regular font.
  5. Citation and Reference are written according to APA style
  • Citations should be typed in (Hadyan, 2019) ... format, according to appearance order.
  • Wikipedia, personal blog, or non scientific website is not allowed to be taken into account.
  • Primary references should be at least 80% from at least ten references.
  • References should be taken from the late five years.
  • Detail referencing manual can be seen in the Jurnal Litbang Polri Template.

Copyright Notice

The copyright of articles published in Jurnal Litbang Polri remains with the author. However, by submitting the manuscript and agreeing to its publication, the author grants Jurnal Litbang Polri the first publication right to:

  • Publish the article openly (open access)

  • Distribute, store, and reproduce the article in both print and electronic formats

  • Archive the article in institutional digital repositories, scientific indexing services, and publication databases

Authors retain the right to use their article for personal, academic, or institutional purposes, provided that the original source of publication in Jurnal Litbang Polri is properly cited.
