The Directorate of Traffic (Ditlantas) of the Riau Regional Police plays a crucial role in reducing accident rates through the implementation of preventive and technology-based policing strategies. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Ditlantas Polda Riau’s policies in minimizing traffic accidents using a criminological and empirical law enforcement approach. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a juridical-empirical framework, supported by document analysis and policy review. The findings indicate that Ditlantas Polda Riau applies preemptive, preventive, and repressive measures, including enhanced highway patrols, the use of Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) systems, and data integration through the Traffic Management Center (TMC). Furthermore, coordination with PT Hutama Karya and related agencies in conducting road safety audits and developing an early warning system for extreme weather has strengthened operational effectiveness. These combined measures have resulted in a 35% reduction in accident rates during 2024–2025. In conclusion, Ditlantas Polda Riau has successfully developed a predictive policing model that integrates criminology, technology, and inter-agency collaboration to achieve sustainable road safety governance.
2025-12-31T13:04:15+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 M wahyudi, M. Various incidents, such as theft and explosions in weapons storage facilities, indicate weaknesses in the current storage and supervision systems. Therefore, an evaluation of the quality of firearm and ammunition storage facilities is essential as part of the police's operational support. This study aims to identify the actual condition and formulate efforts to improve the quality of INP’s firearm and ammunition storage facilities, focusing on aspects of security, safety, health, accessibility, and comfort. The research method uses a mixed-method approach through filling out questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and observations. Data were obtained from 4,813 respondents in 11 sampled regional police. The research results indicate that physically, most warehouses are categorized as sturdy and have ventilation and grills, but still have weaknesses. From a security aspect, the armory is still integrated with the command center. From a safety perspective, a temperature measuring device has not yet been installed in the warehouse. From a health perspective, the warehouse is in a damp condition, and the internet connection is also still weak. From the aspect of comfort, the volume of the warehouse space is still lacking compared to the amount of weapons and ammunition stored inside.
2025-12-31T13:04:53+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Harvin Raslinhttps://jlp.puslitbang.polri.go.id/jlp/LitbangPOLRI/article/view/325Meningkatkan Kepercayaan Publik: Penguatan Peran Polri Dalam Pengejaran Buronan Beserta Hasil Kejahatan Tahun 20242025-12-31T13:10:59+07:00Saefuddin MohamadBid.opsnal2011@gmail.comDadang Sutrasno67100386@polri.go.idMeirina MushlihaBid.opsnal2011@gmail.comSarah Nuraini SiregarBid.opsnal2011@gmail.comYanu EnggarBid.opsnal2011@gmail.com
The police institution holds a central responsibility for maintaining security stability through the enforcement of law. Law enforcement include apprehending criminal offenders and ensuring public order. In recent years, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) has faced heightened public scrutiny in relation to emerging crime trends and recurring failures in the pursuit of fugitives. The inability to apprehend fugitives has the potential to diminish public trust in the legitimacy and effectiveness of law enforcement institutions. In response, the Research and Development Center of Polri (Puslitbang Polri) conducted a study on strengthening Polri’s role in the pursuit of fugitives and criminal proceeds. This study discusses the efforts and challenges faced by Polri and the role of stakeholders in the pursuit of fugitives and criminal proceeds. This study employed a mixed-method approach, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data processing and analysis through a convergent parallel design. The quantitative component involved distributing questionnaires to external policing stakeholders, while the qualitative component consisted of interviews conducted through focus group discussions (FGDs) with internal Polri personnel and external community representatives. The findings of the study indicate that the internal challenges faced by Polri are internal policy governance, bureaucratic transformation, the lack of an integrated digital management system, the quantity and quality of human resources, technological limitations, and suboptimal coordination among policing functions. Externally, stakeholders who act as strategic partners of Polri contribute significantly by providing support through information networks, expanded public dissemination, legal awareness education, and technological resources.
2025-12-31T13:05:36+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Saefuddin Mohamad, Dadang Sutrasno, Meirina Mushliha, Sarah Nuraini Siregar, Yanu Enggarhttps://jlp.puslitbang.polri.go.id/jlp/LitbangPOLRI/article/view/324Keamanan sebagai Layanan: Mengubah Paradigma Pengamanan Objek Vital Melalui Pendekatan Marketing2025-12-31T13:11:00+07:00Agung Himawanagungh.polrestabessurabaya@gmail.comPurwantoagunghimawan.stiemahardhika@gmail.comSri Rahayuagunghimawan.stiemahardhika@gmail.com
The purpose of this study was to explore the factors that influence the decisions of owners and managers of vital, national, and obster facilities to request security from the Indonesian National Police (Polri) through extensive marketing efforts. This research method used a review article, where primary and secondary data were obtained from books, journal articles, and online sources. The results indicate that extensive marketing activities aimed at owners and managers of vital, national, and obster facilities, in order to stimulate regulatory, education, transparency of state revenues, potential disruptions, and technological infrastructure services, will impact their knowledge, awareness, perception, and trust in the Indonesian National Police (Polri), thus shaping their compliance behavior regarding the importance of security requests. This research recommends that the Indonesian National Police (Polri) increasingly develop a culture of service, transparency, and improved modern infrastructure.

Keywords: marketing, demand, stimulus, organism, response

2025-12-31T13:06:17+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Agung Himawan , Purwanto, Sri Rahayuhttps://jlp.puslitbang.polri.go.id/jlp/LitbangPOLRI/article/view/323Dinamika Penerapan Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) dalam Rangka Mewujudkan Kamseltibcarlantas2025-12-31T13:11:00+07:00Frans Tjahyonobidgasbin14000@gmail.comDwi Purwokobidgasbin14000@gmail.comDini Dwi Kusumaningrumbidgasbin14000@gmail.com
This study analyzes the dynamics of the implementation of Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) in Indonesia, which aims to realize Security, Safety, Order, and Smooth Traffic (Kamseltibcarlantas) in Indonesia. The research focuses on four main aspects: regulations and policies, human resources, infrastructure and technology, and budget support. The research method uses a mixed method approach through data collection techniques, namely distributing questionnaires, interviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), and document studies in 12 representative Regional Police (Polda) in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that ETLE plays a significant role in increasing the effectiveness of traffic supervision and reducing violations, although it still faces obstacles such as limited human resources, suboptimal infrastructure, and incomplete data integration. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of increasing personnel capacity, modernizing technological facilities, and developing comprehensive regulations for the sustainable operation of the ETLE system. The implications of the study emphasize the need for cross-institutional synergy and strong budget policy support to expand the implementation of ETLE as the main instrument for digitalizing traffic law enforcement in Indonesia.
2025-12-31T13:06:56+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Frans Tjahyono, Dwi Purwoko, Dini Dwi Kusumaningrum
